In Macedonia, revealed 163 new carriers of coronavirus per day

On July 8, the Ministry of Health of North Macedonia reported that over the past 24 hours, a survey of 1794 people revealed 163 new cases of coronavirus infection. At the same time, 230 people were recognized as cured. According to the Albanian news agency Telegrafi Maqedoni, since the beginning of the epidemic, 7,406 cases of infection have been detected in the country, 359 people have died from complications caused by COVID-19. On July 8, eight patients died in the country. 3,554 patients have already been cured. The number of active infections is now 3,493. There is a tendency to move the epidemic to the plateau stage, the number of active infections has begun to decline. Despite the fact that every day several patients die in the country since July COVID-19,15, parliamentary elections will be held in the country, an election campaign is currently underway. Citizens with coronavirus and a number of other categories of persons were asked to register in advance for elections at home, but only 19 people registered very low interest in the elections. Meanwhile, the Ministry of Health is already preparing for the autumn wave of the pandemic.
